Your missions

Reporting to the Sales Director, Parcel solutions of Alstef Group, this is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to manage the sales for our parcel handling solutions in Mexico.

We need you to develop the parcel solutions business for Alstef Group in Mexico, understanding that the business we recently acquired already has multiple premium references in North America but few/none in Mexico. We consequently need you to hunt for opportunities and catch the big opportunity wave that represents our entry into this market under the Alstef Group brand (already well known in the airport segment in Mexico).

We need you to win projects in this area which will make this, a challenging and fulfilling role that will lead to personal development opportunities. You will be confident in forming strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be able to easily hit the ground running.

Living in Mexico, your credibility, customer focus, exceptional communication and presentation skills will enable you to:

  • Identify clients to be targeted, and build a development plan to win their trust;
  • Establish new relationships with targeted clients;
  • Strenghen relationships with new or existing clients, working with them on new opportunities, analysing client data and anticipating key account changes and improvements;
  • Promote Alstef Group solutions to existing and potential new clients;
  • Understand proposals prior to submission and clearly communicate with client details of offer and any deviations from specifications as part of any negotiation;
  • Manage and lead contract negotiations and communication to ensure final contract aligns with the proposal and any deviations from specifications;
  • Manage key client relationships throughout sales, project implementation and post sales service and support;
  • For every key project, build a team with key stakeholders (tendering, design, maintenance) through guidance and management.

About you?

You speak Spanish, and you are strongly fluent in English (written and spoken).
You have a degree in engineering or business school and you have at least 5 years of experience in a technical environment, ideally in parcel handling systems.

Constructive, proactive and self-directed, your interpersonal skills, your agility in the way you carry out projects and your technical curiosity will enable you to succeed in your missions.
