Alstef Group is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to spearhead our sales initiatives across Australia and New Zealand.
About the Role
As our Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence by:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Coordinating bid proposals, negotiation and contract acquisition
- Building strategic partnerships to drive business growth and strengthen industry connections
- Conducting in-depth market analysis to shape our sales and product strategies
- Managing budgets and costs to ensure profitability
- Mentoring and coaching the sales team to enhance industry and product knowledge
- Leading impactful presentations and representing Alstef Group at key industry events

Profile required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Technical sales within Baggage Handling, Automation or Aviation
- Background in Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation or a related field would be beneficial
- Previous experience operating within the Australia or New Zealand market at an intermediate sales level
- Confident communication and presentation skills, with ability to deliver technical presentations and engage with stakeholders
- Strong commitment to understanding customer requirements and present tailored solutions to meet their technical and business needs
- Experience using CRM tools to manage leads, track sales activities and maintain customer relationships
- A strategic thinker who ensures proposed solutions and plans align with the organisation's business and competitive strategy in a global market
Note: We are ideally looking for candidates based in Sydney, but open to applications from those in Brisbane. This role resides in Australia and will require regular domestic and international travel throughout the major airports in Australia and New Zealand.
