Job description
Reporting to the Airport Systems Maintenance Department Manager based in France , you will be responsible for managing our on-going Baggage Handling System maintenance contract and developing new maintenance contracts (including baggage sorting, screening, and conveying systems for airports) in Romania.
In direct collaboration with our clients, you will have a cross-functional overview of maintenance contracts. You will be responsible for both the technical and commercial follow-up and will ensure the financial performance of your contracts.
You will manage a team of 2 engineers directly as well as various maintenance subcontractors.
In this role, your duties will include:
- Ensuring compliance with site safety instructions, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by both internal teams and subcontractors.
- Managing the commercial relationship with clients under contract (preparing quotations for contracts, works, etc.) and developing business within your scope,
- Participating in tenders and cost estimations for maintenance activities during the pre-project phase,
- Overseeing the administrative and financial management of maintenance contracts: records, invoicing, and payments,
- Ensuring technical follow-up of client installations in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), including proposing extra works and/or improvements,
- Managing schedules and budgets related to maintenance contracts,
- Participating in technical and commercial meetings with clients,
- Coordinating technical teams: technicians, design offices, and implementation teams working on your contracts,
- Monitoring the execution of maintenance operations and works at client sites,
- Ensuring that intervention reports are completed and sent to clients on time,
- Providing technical support to clients (troubleshooting, improvement studies, etc.)
Occasional short business trips are to be expected in France.
Profile required
You are based in Bucarest with a university degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical or automation), you speak Romanian and English (French is a plus).
- Used to customer relationship
- Knowledge of complex systems maintenance (mechanical, electrical, automation and IT)
- Deep experience in delivering industrial maintenance contracts on critical systems for demanding customers
- Experience in managing subcontractors
- Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Great organizational skills; ability to multi-task (know how to manage your priorities)and be a team player.
- Experience in BHS or logistics is a plus
