Do you want to start a new adventure with Alstef group at Christchurch Airport?

We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to work as part of our team at Christchurch Airport who manage the operations and maintenance of the baggage system.

 

You will already have the legal right to work in New Zealand, we are not accepting applicants who do not hold NZ working rights at this time.

 

Your mission: 

  • Operating the baggage system as designed and in accordance with the Service Level agreements

  • Completing assigned tasks competently and efficiently

  • Maintaining records fully and accurately

  • Performing maintenance tasks both preventative and reactive.

Profile required

 Skills, Experience and Requirements

Your current skillset will include the following:

  • Electrical Trade qualification or equivalent

  • Current Electrical Registration

  • Experience with the electrical and/or mechanical aspects of a conveyor system or other similar equipment desired

  • Experience with PLC and control systems

  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot

  • Demonstrate work ethic and time management skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent team player

  • Ability to work shift work on a 7 day rotating roster
