The Advanced Mobile Robotic Research team was established in 2023 with a clear and ambitious mission: to pioneer cutting-edge technologies that would propel our AGVs into the future.
Operating under the direct supervision of the CEO, team members enjoy a remarkable level of autonomy and creative freedom as they delve into a multitude of complex challenges within the fields of mobile robotic and fleet management. Our job span diverse areas, including environment perception, computer vision, localization, distributed computing, communication and data sharing, as well as high-performance computing, among others.
Our objective is to construct the next wave of intelligent industrial vehicles, meticulously tailored to meet the increasingly diverse requirements of our clients. These vehicles are set to be highly autonomous and deeply collaborative, ushering in a new era of industrial automation. We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps engineer to join our newly founded Advanced Mobile Robotic Research team. As a DevOps Engineer, you are tasked with creating from scratch a complete CI/CD pipeline for a large C++ project. You role will be crucial to ensure seamless integration of development and processes, promiting efficiency, scalability and reliability throughout our software delivery lifecycle. You will develop tools and automate tasks to facilitate the day-to-day work of the software engineers. You will also participate in the development of a complete vehicle fleet simulation system and a Hardware-In-The-Loop test module.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and manage a complete CI/CD pipeline for both the embedded vehicle software and fleet management software.
  • Incorporate testing and monitoring tools to facilitate quick and continuous software deployment.
  • Continuously monitor and address system performance to ensure optimal resource utilization and high availability.
  • Enhance system reliability, security, and performance by consistently evaluating and refining the infrastructure and employing vigilant monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
  • Drive automation efforts to optimize team productivity and streamline manual workflows and processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance application architectures, focusing on performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Profile required

Basic Qualifications
Engineer's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
4+ years of professional experience in DevOps

 

Preferred skills and experience

  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis CI.
  • Strong understanding of container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (i.e. Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
  • Deep knowledge of Git.
  • Experience working with Linux OS environments and ability to script in Python, Go, Perl or Ruby
  • Strong knowledge of CMake
  • Certifications in relevant areas is a plus (such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, AWS Cloud computing,
  • GitLab Certified CI/CD Associate,
  • GitLab Certified Git Associate, LFCS, GitOps)
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and effective communication
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong focus on teamwork.
