About the Role:

As Electrical Design Engineer, play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Electrical System Design: Contribute to the design of Materials Handling Systems, MCP, and software sub-contracts, ensuring high-quality electrical design in line with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive electrical schematics, field device layouts, motor control panel layouts, single-line diagrams, and other necessary documentation in adherence to contract specifications and relevant standards.
  • Collaborative Engineering: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs into broader project frameworks.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Skills & Experience

Skills & Experience:

To excel in this role, you should bring the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Electrical Design Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in electrical system design with a focus on baggage and materials handling projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering: A degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
  • Technical Competence: Possess a strong working knowledge of EPlan or AutoCAD, PLC Programming packages (preferably Rockwell, Omron, and Siemens), and SCADA packages (preferably Iconix or Ifix).
  • Project Experience: Demonstrate experience in Electrical and Controls design, preferably within Baggage or Material Handling Systems.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with AS/NZ3000 or equivalent international wiring standards and regulations is essential.
