Are you a seasoned project leader with a passion for delivering large-scale infrastructure solutions? We are seeking experienced and driven International Project Directors to lead major multi-million industrial projects across Australia, Canada, or the United States. These positions require relocation close to the project site for the full duration of the project lifecycle – from mobilization to final handover (2+ years).

In this Project Director role, you'll provide strategic direction to a dedicated project team, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to budget while promoting excellence in safety, collaboration, and performance.

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to shape the success of a significant infrastructure development, working closely with internal and external stakeholders across engineering, procurement, and construction.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the on-site project team to ensure successful project execution.

  • Deliver the project on time, within budget and scope, while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

  • Supervise and support Project Managers, Technical Project Managers, and other project contributors.

  • Act as the main contact for clients and external stakeholders (consultants, suppliers, contractors).

  • Organize and lead project meetings: kick-offs, design reviews, coordination, and business reviews.

  • Monitor project performance and proactively identify and implement improvements.

  • Ensure full compliance with specifications, contracts, and internal PMP processes.

  • Manage cost control, invoicing, cash flow, and risk mitigation to achieve financial objectives.

  • Secure proper contract administration, protect company interests, and manage potential claims.

  • Coordinate efficiently with internal teams located in France and locally.

  • Foster a continuous improvement culture, promoting efficient installation and commissioning practices.

  • Enforce high safety standards on site and ensure compliance with Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, and Cybersecurity policies.

  • Conduct end-of-project business reviews, analyzing variances and formalizing feedback.

  • Promote company values, professionalism, and client satisfaction throughout the project.

About you

You speak English (fluent in French is a plus).

Degree in engineering, you have at least 5-8 years’ relevant experience as a Project Director; Senior Project Coordinator or similar role in a technical environment, construction or engineering discipline. Ideally in airport systems (systems for airport terminal, ground handling or IT).

Accuracy & attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames,

Ability to take control of everyday situations and to assume responsibility, organising and guiding where necessary,

Delivery of project outcomes with Safety, Quality, Schedule and Budget as the highest priority

Constructive, proactive and self-directed, your interpersonal skills, your agility in the way you manage teams and carry out projects will enable you to succeed in your missions.
