About the Role
Alstef Australia is growing and we are seeking an experienced Support Services Operations Manager to oversee and drive our service delivery across airports and parcel and logistics sectors. This role is responsible for our financial performance, driving operational efficiency and managing key stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage operations to meet financial and commercial objectives
- Work with Engineering & Projects teams to deliver quality outcomes
- Grow the field service business in Australia within the smaller Tier 2/3 sites
- Support business growth by identifying new opportunities and assisting with tenders
- Support sales team in the region with the aim of finding new customers and responding to tenders for new projects or maintenance contracts in the region
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and ISO 45000 standards
- Manage contracts, minor works, and maintenance operations effectively
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for cost reduction, process optimisation, and system enhancements.

Profile required
About you
- 5+ years’ experience as an Industrial Engineer within O&M
- Background in the Baggage Handling, Automation or Aviation industry
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing departmental P&L
- Expertise in CMMS implementation (CarlSource preferred)
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI, MS Project, Maximo, SIG
- PMP Certification & SAP 4/HANA knowledge is highly desirable
- A proactive problem solver with a strong continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Permanent work rights in Australia
