Within the framework of project in Brisbane, we are looking for a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager with strong knowledge/experience in managing BHS projects.

You are willing to relocate close to the project location (from start to handover to the customer - 2, 3+ yrs).

You will specialize in contract cost planning, estimating activities, commercial management and will bring your practical expertise and best practice experience.

You will also have to be comfortable operating in a client-facing role, leading project teams and managing stakeholders.

Reporting to the Project Director, your credibility, customer focus and exceptional communication skills will enable you to:

• Ensure compliance with the specifications, contractual clauses and proper administration of the contract
• Organize the meetings that mark the project (kick-off meetings, design reviews, coordination meetings, monthly business meetings, etc.)
• Maintain regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project
• Follow any contractual aspects and contractual communication with the client
• Revise and update project schedule on a regular basis
• Work collectively with stakeholders with common goals
• Oversee management of the operational and resource requirements
  
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reports
• Proactively manage purchase orders on site, controlling usage and expenditure
• Liaising with the client and other, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
• Coordination with multiple teams (France and/or local)
• Manage claims
• Manage resources
  
• Lead by example and promote a proactive health & safety conscious culture

Profile required

You speak English (fluent in French is a plus).

Degree in engineering, you have at least 5-8 years’ relevant experience as a Project Manager or similar role in a technical environment, BHS / airport systems (systems for airport terminal /ground handling).

Accuracy & attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames,

Ability to take control of everyday situations and to assume responsibility, organising and guiding where necessary,

Delivery of project outcomes with Safety, Quality, Schedule and Budget as the highest priority

Constructive, proactive and self-directed, your interpersonal skills, your agility in the way you manage teams and carry out projects will enable you to succeed in your missions.
