• Provide high level design expertise to the ongoing development of Glidepath product including Self Service Bag Drop products enabling the introduction of new capabilities & functionality.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define product requirements & technical scope with meet customer objectives
• Provide technical input in defining & establishing technical design constraints & objectives
• Provide technical input in defining & determining design solutions
• Undertake the development of high quality, robust & functional computer system platforms & computer networking infrastructure supporting Industry 4.0 initiatives
• Ensure development activities are suitably planned against development schedules & progress is monitored
• Participate in the introduction and use of world class practices
• Maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders

Profile required

• Qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or Computer & Information Sciences
• Five years+ relevant experience including within a multi-disciplined engineering environment and with international engineering projects or internationally marketed products
• Experience with UML &/or SysML documentation methods
• Experience in world class development methodologies including Lean& Agile methods
• Experience with Windows &Linux operating systems & server environments
• Experience with designing, implementing, testing & deploying computer systems & networking infrastructure
• Experience with C/C++&/or C# .NET core
• Experience in computer scripting languages (Python, Perl, Ruby)
• Experience with modern software development tool chains
• Experience with version/source control & continuous integration tools
• Experience with test driven development
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Sound knowledge of MS or equivalent Office suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
