Are you an experienced Tender Manager with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality tender submissions?
About the Role
As the Tendering Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation and management of tenders, including estimates, work schedules, cash flows and contract reviews. You'll work closely with senior leadership, regional sales managers and various technical departments to deliver accurate, competitive and high-quality proposals that win work and build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cost modelling, ensuring logic and integrity of estimates
- Manage tender preparation process, from scope review to final submission
- Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers for accurate pricing
- Review and align contract terms in line with commercial expectations
- Lead and coach a high-performing team
- Manage and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
- Champion health & safety, quality and process improvements across the team
Profile required
About you
We’re looking for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and make a real impact. With your deep expertise in tendering, you will play a leading role in navigating complex project requirements. This key position will foster a high-performing team, in order to ensure smooth bid execution, converting strategic opportunities into successful project wins. You will also have:
- Proven experience in a tendering, estimating, with strong commercial nous
- Strong knowledge of project management and costing principles
- Tertiary engineering qualification preferred (Mechanical or Electrical an advantage)
- A background in Baggage Handling Systems or complex engineering environments is desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated leadership with a focus on collaboration and team development
- Commercial acumen, time management and strategic thinking
