About the Role:

As Electrical Design Engineer, play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge projects. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Contribute to the design of Materials Handling Systems, MCP and software sub-contracts Ensure high-quality electrical design in line with project requirements and industry standards
  • Produce comprehensive electrical schematics, field device layouts, motor control panel layouts, single-line diagrams, and other necessary documentation in adherence to contract specifications and relevant standards
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs into broader project frameworks.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability

Profile required

Skills & Experience:

To excel in this role, you should bring the following skills, experience, and attributes:

 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Electrical and Controls Design, within Baggage Handling Systems
  • Relevant tertiary level qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Applied knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000) and international wiring standards and regulations in electrical projects
  • Ability to read, understand and develop electrical circuits
  • Strong technical systems experience with EPlan, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit and other relevant modelling software
  • Experience with PLC Programming packages ((Rockwell, Omron and Siemens preferred) and SCADA packages (Iconix or Ifix preferred)
