Reporting to the Head of Department Installation, Commissioning and Warranty (Airport Division), you will, as a Technical Expert, work on customer sites for the automated installation of Baggage Handling Systems, during the commissioning, warranty and diagnostic phases. 

As such, you will carry out the following missions:

- Be responsible for commissioning and overseeing the installation of baggage handling systems on a client's site.

- Executing commissioning activities within budget and schedule

- Ensuring that equipment works to its specification

- Creating and carrying out test procedures

- Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults

- Troubleshooting

- Liaising with installation/maintenance technician

- Supervising engineering and technical staff

- Writing reports and documentation

- Providing technical support

- Ensuring safe working conditions

- Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate

- Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary plant performance in accordance with project requirements

- Participating in technical meetings and handle discussions with the client.

Consequently, this position involves medium and long term international travel.

Travel, international work and regular absences from home are often requirements of the job, but you may be paid overtime and lodging allowances in compensation.

Wanted profile

You speak English, and you are strongly fluent in Croatian and/or French (written and spoken).

You have a degree in General Engineering and have a minimum of 3-5 years job-related experience, post-graduation, in a large industrial or airport facility.

You have skills in automation, electrical engineering and mechanics and have experiences in supporting operations, maintenance, and testing of facility systems and components.

You must be able to travel on business as needed.

Schedules : Monday to Friday, Daytime but sometimes you may have to to cope with shift work and weekends.
