 About the role:

We are seeking a Project Manager with experience leading cross-functional project teams to join our team in Auckland. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while also building and promoting the integrity of the Alstef brand, exceeding client expectations, and supporting the Company’s position as a market leader. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources

  • Monitoring project progress, track project milestones, and report on project status to stakeholders

  • Communicating with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success and satisfaction

  • Lead by example, promote a proactive health and safety-conscious culture, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies

Profile required

Skills & Experience

In this role, you will drive successful project outcomes through a process-driven approach, demonstrating exceptional planning and organisational skills. You will also have the following:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in a Project Management role within Materials Handling or Intralogistics and other relevant Mechanical Engineering projects

  • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering and Project Management would be ideal

  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and within budget

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project and JIRA

  • Proven experience in negotiation and conflict management

  • Proven delivery of project outcomes with contractual documentation

  • Sound working knowledge of contractual and commercial issues

  • Sound working knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes including the ability to estimate cost to complete and forecast cost at completion

  • Sound working knowledge of project scheduling and planning
