About the role:

We are looking for a qualified and skilled Mechanical expert to join our team at Brisbane Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of the baggage system, ensuring efficient, safe and reliable performance.

Location: Brisbane Airport 

Pay: $57.12 per hour (EBA agreement) 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the baggage system in line with design specifications and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

• Complete assigned tasks efficiently, with a focus on precision and quality

• Keep detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities

• Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance to keep systems running smoothly

Work Schedule: This role involves shift work with a rotating schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off, 12 hour shifts - 2 days, 2 nights, offering variety and flexibility in your routine.

Profile required

Required skills and experience:

• Hold a Trade qualification or equivalent.

• Industrial Maintenance Background

• Demonstrated experience with control systems

• Experience with the mechanical aspects of a conveyor system or other similar equipment desired

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 40kgs

Additionally, you must have the legal right to work in Australia.
