We're seeking a Senior People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner to join our dedicated team supporting HR functions across Alstef's APAC region. You will be working closely with the P&C Manager assisting with employee relations issues, providing performance management guidance to line managers, analysing trends and metrics along with the following key tasks:

  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Overseeing the recruitment process to ensure that Hiring Managers work through the process efficiently.

Profile required

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years relevent HR/P&C generalist experience in New Zealand and Australia. Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills are essential for managing tasks and engaging with diverse teams.You will already have the legal right to work in New Zealand, along with the following:

 

  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Tertiary level Human Resources degree qualification
  • Experience working / negotiations with Unions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with people at all levels.
