Join a high-impact project at one of Australia’s busiest airports!
We’re looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join our Brisbane Project team, in this complex and dynamic environment. You will be an integral part of our on-site presence, supporting the delivery of health, safety and environmental initiatives and activities, in line with industry standards.
About the role

Provide HSE support across the Project and Operations & Maintenance teams

Lead site safety initiatives, actively participate in toolbox talks and pre-start meetings

Conduct safety-by-design assessments and ensure compliance with national standards

Monitor and report onsite HSE performance

Investigate incidents and develop corrective action plans and assist with injury management
-
Liaise with various stakeholders i.e. client, tier 1 contractor, subcontractos and internal teams

Uphold industry safety standards in line with legislative requirements
Hours: This role is based on site, generally working Mon–Fri (but required flexibility to work weekends and nights as required.

About you
The ideal candidate for this position is a confident communicator, who can effectively engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders. You will have a proactive approach and take ownership of this role in order to deliver to H&S requirements. Critical thinking will help you assess complex situations quickly, identify risks and develop practical, compliant solutions. You will also have:

Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in Construction, ideally in an operational Airport environment

Tertiary level qualification in Health & Safety or related field is essential

Strong communicator and confident relationship manager

Adaptable, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
-
Proactive mindset – someone who takes initiative and gets things done
-
Experience managing compliance, incident investigations and contractor requirements
