Are you a proactive planner with an eye for detail and a passion for delivering results? We’re looking for a Project Planner to join our Brisbane Project team, supporting the delivery of a major Baggage Handling System (BHS) project.
In this role, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our complex schedule aligns with real-world progress, client expectations, and project goals. You’ll bring structure and foresight to a fast-paced environment by developing and maintaining integrated schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and identifying opportunities and risks before they impact delivery.
About the Role
As the Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring the master project schedule across design and site activities. You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective forecasting, progress tracking, reporting, and change management.
This is a hands-on planning role that will require excellent technical scheduling capabilities, strong stakeholder engagement skills and a proactive mindset to keep the project on track.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the master project schedule for BHS works in Brisbane.

Regularly update schedules to reflect progress, phasing changes, and design updates

Identify critical paths, milestones, and interdependencies to support forecasting and decision-making

Prepare regular progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.

Manage short-term two-week lookahead schedules to align daily activities with broader goals

Coordinate with project managers, design teams, site teams, and client representatives

Facilitate schedule review meetings and integrate feedback from various stakeholders

Support claims and time impact analyses by recording and categorising delay events

Align internal schedules with the client master program, tracking impacts and supporting milestone realignment

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (preferred)

2–4 years of experience in project planning roles within Infrastructure, Construction or BHS projects

Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 (2–4 years) is a must
-
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
